A day in the life of…

Team Digital builds the software that lets entrepreneurs lease without hassle. You make sure an entrepreneur knows where they stand with their lease application within minutes, not days, and that everything behind this process works as intended.

In the morning you open your laptop and check the board. There's a merge request ready for review from a colleague. A new update for the Beeport. You dive into the code, give feedback and approve it. Then you pick up your own ticket: an improvement to the Lease calculator so customers get through the quote process faster. React, TypeScript, GraphQL are your to go tools.

In the afternoon you have refinement with the team. Together you determine what actions will have the most impact in the upcoming sprint. You align briefly with a designer on the UX of a new MijnBeequip screen and discuss with the product owner what data the Beeport needs for a new partner feature.

At the end of the day you switch to the Marktplaats. This is our trading platform for heavy equipment. This is where your full stack experience comes in. We're building this marketplace to generate more leads and strengthen our position as "equipment experts". The goal: the best equipment marketplace in Europe. You build, test and iterate until we get there. You sign off knowing that what you built today will help entrepreneurs tomorrow.

Your team

You work in the Digital team alongside developers, designers and product owners. Together you build the lease calculator, MijnBeequip, the Marktplaats, the Beeport and the public API. You connect daily with Marketing, Sales and Operations, because what you build touches the entire customer journey. The vibe: ambitious, open and having a good time building the best experience for your customers. Besides the hard work, you celebrate the wins just as hard: cooking together and shaking cocktails twice a year is one of team Digital's rituals to strengthen the bond.

Job requirements

Your skillset to get it done

  • Extensive experience as a front-end developer; you feel at home in a senior role.

  • React, TypeScript, HTML and CSS. That's your home base.

  • You're up to speed on the latest developments and best practice within your field.

  • Full stack doesn't scare you. You pick up back-end when needed.

  • You take ownership and make decisions as if Beequip were your own company.

  • Bachelor's or Master's level of working and thinking.

  • You're a team player with experience in an Agile environment.

  • You coach colleagues, give sharp code reviews and actively share knowledge.

  • Nice to haves: Node.js, Next.js, Apollo (GraphQL), Vercel, Ruby on Rails, fintech experience.

And the most important thing: you're completely yourself.
