At Beequip, we empower small and medium-sized entrepreneurs by providing  leasing solutions that allow them to finance their heavy equipment. Our in-house developed software ensures we can provide a seamless, efficient, and customer-centric experience. As a Test Automation Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in making sure our software remains robust, reliable, and able to support our customers at scale.


Your impact as a Test Automation Engineer
We would like to reduce the time that we spend on acceptance testing our features, so that we can deliver our software to the customer faster, without breaking existing functionality. This means that you would get the opportunity to start a greenfield project to set-up automated end-to-end testing between all the various systems. In the first two years, we would like to cover at least 80% of the supported product flows using automated tests, while the rest is still performed using manual testing.

Help us achieve continuous delivery, allowing for multiple daily releases triggered by a single button push — with full confidence that all functionalities have been rigorously tested and verified.

  • You come up with a qualitative approach towards acceptance testing;

  • You implement support to set-up scenarios within the existing RPC-interface of the various applications to improve the level of test automation.

Your background 
  • Bachelor’s (hbo or wo) in a related field or proven track record;
  • At least four years’ experience in automated acceptance testing with frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress or Playwright with or without using Cucumber;
  • Solid coding experience, no specific language requirement but we want a code-based acceptance suite;
  • Proactive attitude to getting things done using an iterative approach.

This is what you can expect after your application: We start with a phone introduction, followed by a conversation with Marthyn at the office. Then we'll ask you to complete a personality test and a technical assessment. You'll discuss the technical assessment in the second interview with Marthyn and someone from the team. You'll discuss the personal assessment that same day with one of our founders and the Head of People & Culture. That day you can also meet the team. Does the energy match?
